Is all your food Halal?
Absolutely. All of the food served at Royal Mahal is HMC certified halal.
How do I get there?
We are only 1 minute away from the Tooting Bec underground station located on the Northern Line. You can also travel by car and as we are situated on the corner of a high street there are many streets with parking availability at all times.
Do you serve alcohol or can we bring our own (BYO)?
Sorry, we do not serve alcohol or allow BYO, however we have a wide variety of non-alcoholic cocktails which are a great substitute. These are a must try.
Do you have prayer facilities?
We are only a few minutes walk from the Tooting Islamic Centre. If it is necessary to pray at the restaurant we will accommodate.
Do you have a time limit per booking?
A 2 hour time window per booking is applied to allow all customers adequate time to enjoy a great dining experience at the Royal Mahal.
Do you offer an NHS discount?
Yes, we offer a 5% discount to all NHS staff. A valid NHS ID must be presented to a member of staff when claiming the discount.
Do you have a vegetarian option?
Yes, we do. We have a vegetarian and vegan menu with plenty of options. We aim to cater for people with all sorts of dietary requirements, hence there is an option for everyone!
Do you have parking facilities?
Royal Mahal is conveniently located on the corner of a high street and therefore benefits from on-street parking outside and on immediate side streets.
Do you take reservations?
Yes we do. We only allow a 15 minute grace period for reservations if you are late. After the time the reservation is not guaranteed.
Do you have a kids menu?
Yes, lots of options for the young crowd 🙂
Do you cater for group parties at the restaurant? Can we have our own space?
Yes this is possible and a very popular option for our regulars. We have 3 distinct areas of the restaurant which are large enough to cater for private group parties. Please contact us for more information and we will be happy to talk through your requirements.
